1_Scale

If we move the equestrian center to another location, do we need to redesign it on a scale of 1:200, like the hotel?
No, the master plan will do.

Are we permitted to change the defined scales? Our hotel design has a large footprint so we would prefer to use a scale of 1:500.
We would prefer you to keep to the layout recommendations to facilitate the work of the jury, which must judge several hundred projects. However, if your situation plan / ground floor plan is oriented as requested, you may turn the upper floors for a better fit on the panels.

2_Layout

On the page 24 of the P_2_Task, the panels for Mr. Manser are mentioned. What is meant by placing the panels on the lower row of the layout?
In the exhibition, the panels will be presented in two rows as explained in P_2 Task § 9.2. As a jury member Joe Manser is sitting in a wheelchair so it will be difficult for him to read text on the panels of the upper row.

In the task document, it says that the paper for the prints must be no heavier than 150 g/m2. Is this to make transport easier, or because of concerns that the paper will be too stiff? I'm asking because you can get high-quality gloss paper that is heavier than 150 g/m2 but is still thin and flexible.
The paper weight is limited to 150g/m2 so the plans can be easily hung on walls and presentation panels.

3_Report

Should the reports be included on the A1 presentation panels, in the form of texts and diagrams? Or may we submit entirely separate documents?
The reports should be on the panels.

4_Tactile

What you mean by: tactile plan to be used by sight-impaired members of the jury?
This is where you should imagine yourself as being sight-impaired. What kind of plan would work best for you? Perhaps one with a combination of relief, texture, and Braille letters? This is your chance to show the jury that you have understood a key aspect of "Access for All".

Can we submit our projects without a tactile plan - i.e.: electronically?
No, you must submit a tactile plan that was created by yourself (see instructions in P_2 Task § 8.1.2). Without a tactile plan, your project will not be presented to the jury! And please send your project in physical form and not electronically.
