Article 11: Composition of the jury
The grand jury of the Schindler Award consists of a minimum of nine members:
- a minimum of five professionals in the field of architecture or city planning;
- a minimum of three representatives of disabled organizations;
- a minimum of one representative of the city in which the competition is held;
- a minimum of one representative of Schindler
The pre-selection jury consists of a minimum of three jurors from the grand jury in the field of architecture or city planning.
Professionals in the field of architecture or city planning will always make up the majority of jurors on the grand jury or in the pre-selection jury regardless of the total number of jurors.
The representatives of disabled organizations act as reference persons for whom reports have to be submitted together with the drawings of the projects.
