Article 4: Admission
This conceptual competition is open to all students in their last year of study in a bachelor course or enrolled in a master course at a European university or college of architecture. They may apply directly on this website, as individuals or as project teams made up of not more than three students, by filling out the online application.
A confirmation will be returned to them or to their class representative, assistant teacher or professor within seven days.
Each entering student receives an official entry number as confirmation of having been accepted to the competition. This entry number must hence be mentioned in all further communication with the competition management.
A project team of two or three students must designate a spokes person to whom all correspondence can be relayed to.
If 12 or more students of the same school apply for the Schindler Competition, that school qualifies for the school competition under the following stipulations:
- Constant support be given to the participants by their teachers during the design process.
- The school offer at least two specific lectures, a seminary or a workshop on the issue of “accessibility”.
- The school pre-select the students projects according to Article 5.
