The grand jury for the Schindler Award consists of a minimum of 9 members:
- A minimum of 5 professionals in the field of architecture or city planning
- A minimum of 3 representatives of handicap organizations
- A minimum of 1 representative of the city where the competition is held.
The pre-selection jury consists of a minimum of three jurors from the grand jury and three members of the competition management.
The number of professionals in the field of architecture or city planning shall always be the majority of the grand jury or pre-selection jury regardless of the total number of jurors.
