There are still too many barriers for people with disabilities. To eliminate these barriers requires a change of thinking. The Schindler Award is a small step towards what we hope will become a significant change.

Schindler and the Award
The “Access for All” principle is based on finding solutions for everyone rather than concentrating only on measures for specific forms of disability. For Schindler, this means planning and construction according to the “Design for All” philosophy.
